Our Process

Our process is unlike any other. We start by removing all hardware (hinges, slides or guides, and any accessories) from you cabinets. We sand each and every cabinet surface (cabinet boxes, doors, and drawers) in preparation for staining or painting. After that, we apply sanding sealer to lock in the rich colors and seal the material. Oh yeah we can’t forget sanding once again. Then we apply one of the best finishes available for a smooth manufacturer grade finish that is second to none

All our work in completed in our clean shop with a state-of-the-art spray booth. This means no mess in your home or your garage yet you still get the custom look you want. We also have a pick-up and delivery service available if you or your cabinet manufacturer is unable to get your cabinets to us.

Cabinet Finish Options

There is no limitation to your choice of cabinet finishes. It’s all custom made to your specifications. In addition to the wide range of standard stains and solid colors by Davis Custom Painting, we can also customize colors to match your existing décor or your future dreams, all in a wide selection of gloss, matte, or opaque finishes.

Many steps of detail are involved and much personal attention is given to achieve the finishes we offer. Some of our old world “vintage finishes” require fine hand sanding, special antiquing and glazing application techniques, and hand-rubbing. When your new kitchen is installed, you will see the amazing results that this attention to detail brings to your home.
